Celebration of Doctors Day 01 July 2020

On 1st July, 2020 students of Surendranath Centenary School celebrated Doctor’s Day staying at home, with their doctor parents & other doctors in their locality because they did not want to miss this opportunity to extend their gratitude to all doctors who selflessly care always and now in particular during this pandemic situation. Children wished them with cards& flowers which brought a gleam on the faces of the tireless hardworking doctor parents. A few parents shared videos about the care & precautions children must take which was in turn shared with students of all the classes.

Children recited poems, delivered speech & made slogans and posters. Some children expressed their wish to become doctors, some even took a pledge for the same while others enacted skits with their siblings at home to remind us of the contribution of the‘heroes in white’.

Principal Mrs. Samita Sinha extended her wishes to the entire doctor fraternity for their altruistic behavior. She also urged children to look up to these saviours, be motivated and serve the nation as true warriors.
