The Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India is celebrating the `Children Sports Festival` under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav in the month of April 2023. Different events were organised for three consecutive days i,e., 25th to 27th of April 2023 in the school premises by the sports club. The events were both outdoor and indoor games. The Junior wing participated in chess, Ludo, Carrom (indoor games) and Kho Kho, Kabaddi, hopscotch, tug of war, Dodgeball and Frog Race (outdoor games). Even the inclusive group(CWSN) participated in physical activity with a ball. The senior wing students participated in 4×100 m relay race, dodgeball, Tug of war and basketball. Madam Principal Samita Sinha encouraged the children who participated in the different activities by briefing them about the importance of sports. She said that sports serve society by providing vivid examples of excellence. It enhances one's personality besides keeping oneself fit.
