Surendranath Centenary School celebrated Grandparents` Day on September 3, 2024, with `RANGOTSAV,` a special event featuring Pre-Nursery, Nursery, and KG students. The programme included traditional Shloka and Gayatri mantra recitations, engaging performances like Nanha Munna Rahi Hoon, an Alphabet Parade, and lively group songs and dances. A unique ramp walk, `Colours of Life,` showcased the bond between three generations—grandparents, parents, and children. A student recited a heartfelt poem and encouraging words were shared by a grandparent, making the event even more special. Madam Principal Samita Sinha emphasized that the event celebrates the importance of intergenerational relationships and the value of respecting and learning from our elders.
