The sports club of Surendranath Centenary School celebrated the Fit India School Week with utmost zeal and fervor. Classes Nursery to XII conducted various activities from 21st November 2023 which included pledge, yoga, meditation and fun games . A fitness talk was conducted on the importance of fitness. A rally was also organised for spreading awareness. Sports and games activities were organised for the tiny tots and for the senior students, class III enjoyed playing indigenous games. Classes VI to XII participated in 100 meter and 200 meter relay race. The other activities were collecting balls, poster making and essay writing. On this occasion Madam Principal Samita Sinha motivated the children to participate in various sports events and made them realize the importance of physical fitness.
