The Heritage Club of Surendranath Centenary School celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas with great fervor and patriotism. The junior wing organised a special assembly where students delivered speeches and paid homage to the Kargil martyrs through a poignant enactment and dance performance on the theme `Remember, Rejoice and Renew`. In the senior wing, the observance continued with the students of class XI and NCC cadets visiting the War Memorial to pay homage. A solemn speech was delivered at the memorial followed by a quiz, enhancing the students' knowledge and respect for the sacrifices made by our brave soldiers. Madam Principal Samita Sinha said that the school`s tribute to the Kargil heroes is a testament to the students' understanding of the significance of this historic event.
