The Hindi Department of Surendranath Centenary School celebrated Hindi Diwas on 13th September 2024 with great enthusiasm, aiming to promote and preserve the language. A special assembly was held in the junior wing, featuring a thought-provoking speech by Sakshi Singh on the significance of Hindi Diwas and the language. The event showcased a group song, `Alag-Alag Hai Bhasha,` highlighting India`s linguistic diversity, and a Nukkad Natak, `Hindi ki Aatmakatha,` tracing the journey of the Hindi language. Students from Classes VI to VIII recited poems by renowned poet Suryakant Tripathi Nirala, created cards, and wrote slogans to promote the language. The event concluded with a pledge to promote and preserve Hindi, encouraged by Principal Samita Sinha, who urged students to take pride in their linguistic heritage.
