The Sports Club of Surendranath Centenary School, in partnership with Deepshikha – Institute for Child Development and Mental Health, hosted a friendly cricket match under the "Meet Your Special Buddy - 2025" initiative. Held on the school ground, the event brought together students from diverse backgrounds to celebrate inclusion through Unified Sports. Students from Classes VIII and IX represented SCS, playing alongside their peers from Deepshikha, highlighting empathy, teamwork and sportsmanship, and giving participants a chance to play, learn and bond side-by-side. The students from Deepshikha participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their abilities, confidence and joyful spirit, making the match truly meaningful for everyone involved. Teachers, coordinators and staff from both organisations cheered the players, underscoring the unity and positive energy on the field. Speaking on the occasion, Madam Principal Samita Sinha said, "This friendly cricket match is a beautiful example of how sport can break barriers and bring hearts together. I am proud of our students for embracing togetherness with such enthusiasm."
