The tiny tots of Balvatika along with their teachers at Surendranath Centenary School celebrated Janmashtami with immense joy, enthusiasm and festive fervour. Symbolizing unity,courage and determination was the dahi handi event followed by the recreation of the traditional cradel ceremony of Lord Krishna.The little ones dressed as adorable Radha and Krishna added a divine charm to the celebrations with their colourful traditional attire. The celebration was a delightful blend of culture, creativity and confident expression. The young learners participated enthusiastically in a charming Ramp Walk, melodious bhajan presentation, lively Dandiya and an engaging Speak-Up Activity. They also showcased their creativity through craft-making and festive decorations, filling the surroundings with colour and cheer. The vibrant celebration offered the children a joyful and meaningful way to connect with Indian traditions and cultural heritage, while encouraging creativity, confidence and a spirit of togetherness. Speaking on the occasion, Madam Principal Ms Samita Sinha said, Festivals provide meaningful opportunities for children to learn about our rich cultural heritage while developing confidence, creativity and a sense of togetherness.
