Surendranath Centenary School observed National Technology Day through a series of collaborative activities organised by the ATL and Science Club. The theme for the celebration was Energy Crisis, Solutions and Innovations. As part of the programme, students participated in a model presentation at BIT Mesra, showcasing innovative ideas to address energy challenges. A mass awareness programme was also conducted during the morning assembly through a speech on Latest Technology for Energy Crisis, sensitising students to sustainable solutions. Additionally, a field visit for students of Classes IX and X to HEC, Ranchi was organised to provide practical exposure to technology-based applications. Speaking on the occasion, Madam Principal Ms. Samita Sinha said that such initiatives encourage students to think innovatively and become responsible citizens who can contribute meaningfully towards solving real-world challenges like the energy crisis.
