The Art and Culture and Literary Club of Surendranath Centenary School celebrated Rabindra Jayanti with a rich lineup of performances honouring the 164th birth anniversary of India's first Nobel Laureate, Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore. In the Junior wing, students sang a melodious Hindi song as a tribute to Tagore, performed a dance, and recited one of his famous poems. The Senior wing organized a Recitation Competition featuring Tagore's poems, with Rabindra Nritya and Rabindra Sangeet captivating everyone's heart. Madam Principal Samita Sinha said that such celebrations foster a strong sense of identity, heritage appreciation, and uphold Tagore's ideals of harmony, freedom, and creativity.
