The Art & Culture Club and Literary Club of Surendranath Centenary School celebrated Rabindra Jayanti to commemorate the birth anniversary of Nobel Laureate Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore. The celebration began with a Special Assembly where students paid floral tribute to the bard of Bengal and reflected on his timeless contributions to literature, music, and art. Students of the junior section presented a Speech, Group Song, Group Dance, and Dramatised Recitation capturing the spirit of Tagores works. The senior section presented Ek Jhalak: Rabindranath ka Prakriti Prem, a thematic programme highlighting Tagores love for nature. The events included a soulful Group Song, a Speech in Rabindranath Attire, Prakriti ki God me featuring Rabindra Sangeet and poem, and a presentation titled Gurudev ki nazar me Sringar Ras. The performances portrayed Tagores philosophy, his bond with nature, and his artistic vision. Speaking on the occasion, Madam Principal Ms. Samita Sinha said that Tagores works continue to guide and inspire, and that such programmes are important to keep his cultural and literary legacy alive.
