The Literary Club of Surendranath Centenary School celebrated Sanskrit Diwas with great enthusiasm, highlighting the richness of Sanskrit and its significance in Indias cultural heritage. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp and a pledge to respect the language and motherland. This was followed by a graceful welcome dance, a melodious Sanskrit song and an engaging skit highlighting the importance of preserving and promoting the language. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Madam, Mrs. Samita Sinha said, Sanskrit is an integral part of our rich cultural heritage, and we must take pride in preserving and promoting this timeless language.
