A workshop on the topic `Financial Literacy and Digital Tools` was conducted in Surendranath Centenary School, Ranchi on 27th January, 2023. It was a hub activity and a sensitizing programme that was organized under the aegis of Central Board of Secondary Education ( CBSE). The resource person was Mr. Kumod Kr. Mishra who is currently associated with NISM Certified Financial Planner. He is an expert in this field and has deep knowledge of financial market, investment products and financial planning. Around 120 participants from different schools attended the workshop . The programme started with lighting of the lamp. Madam Principal Samita Sinha welcomed the dignitaries and the participants present on this occasion .The importance of Financial Literacy and how it can be beneficial in today`s economic climate was widely discussed by the resource person. He also briefed the teachers about the use of digital tools in various ways. It was quite enriching and an informative session. The teachers had many queries in this context and they were all answered by the resource person impromptu. The programme ended up at 4.30 pm .
