A workshop on Social Media De Addiction was organised in Surendranath Centenary School today. The resource person Mr. Chandra Sekhar Mahatha (Senior Trainer, Training and Placement department, Sarla Birla University ) while addressing the students highlighted a very practical problem which they are facing today i.e Social Media Addiction. Mr.Mahatha was of the view that students today do not realise that they are trapped by the social media as consumers. Children become the worst victims. Mr. Mahatha advised the students to adopt hobbies which have physical involvement. He also suggested students to go for entertainment to destress themselves. A very heart touching video was shown to the students giving a strong message to value relationship where personal touch is involved. Madam Principal Samita Sinha thanked Mr. Mahatha for giving valuable tips and solutions to get out of the social media trap.
