Examination Policy

  • The Academic Session has been divided into two terms and there are two term end examinations for Class I to XII and Assessment Tests for Nur. & KG. In addition two Unit Tests and two Class/ Periodic Tests are conducted during the academic year.

  • Three Periodic Tests for Class X are conducted in the form of Pre Mid Term in July, Mid Term in September and Post Mid Term in November along with one set of Unit Tests.

  • Class XI & XII appears for three sets of Unit Tests throughout the session.

  • A Pre-Board Examination is conducted for Class XII & X in the month of January.

  • It is mandatory for all students to have 75% attendance, for appearing in term exams.

  • Students failing in consecutive years or twice in the same class will be given a Transfer Certificate.

  • If any test day is declared a holiday, the test will be taken on the next working day.

  • Promotion to the next class depends on the child's performance throughout the year.

  • "Amala Goswami Endowment" Silver Medal cum Certificate is awarded to the most outstanding student of the Class X outgoing batch.

  • "Ranadeb Chaudhuri" Silver Medal cum Certificate is awarded to the student securing the highest aggregate in Science Class XII All India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination.

  • "Mira Chaudhuri" Silver Medal cum Certificate is awarded to the student securing the highest aggregate in Commerce in Class XII All India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination.

Examination Rules

  • Students must bring their admit card on all days of examination otherwise they will not be allowed to take their examination.

  • They must bring all the requisite materials such as ruler, pencil, eraser, sharpener etc. and not borrow the same from their friends in the examination hall.

  • Students must write their name and roll no. on the question paper. No rough work should be done on the question paper.

  • They must not carry any textual material, printed or written, bits of paper or any other material except admit card inside the examination hall.

  • Mobile phones, smart watches or other electronic devices must not be found with the students during the examination.

  • Action will be taken against all those who break the above rules as per school guidelines.
