The Eco Club of Surendranath Centenary School observed National Pollution Control Day, engaging students from both the Junior and Senior Wings in activities that promoted environmental awareness and responsibility. For the Junior Wing (KG–V), the programme featured an informative speech on pollution control, a pledge encouraging students to adopt cleaner habits, and a vibrant poster-making activity on the theme "Solution to Pollution." In the Senior Wing, students delivered a thought-provoking speech during the morning assembly, followed by a debate competition for Classes VIII and IX, where participants presented practical and innovative solutions to combat pollution. Madam Principal Samita Sinha said that the activities encouraged students to act responsibly and contribute towards a cleaner environment.
