Surendranath Centenary School observed Doctors Day through a series of health awareness initiatives organised by the Health Club. An expert talk on Menstrual Awareness for girls of Classes V and VI was delivered by Dr. Divya Kumari, MS Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Gandhi Nagar Hospital, Ranchi. The session addressed scientific facts, health, dignity, and dispelling common myths. The boys attended a session on Personal Hygiene led by the Health and Wellness School Ambassador and school counsellor, encouraging healthy daily practices. An Eye Check-up Camp for junior section students was organised in collaboration with IRIS Super Speciality Hospital for early vision screening, while for senior students and staff it was conducted by SPARSH Eye Centre. This was part of the schools monthly Health and Wellness activity. Madam Principal Samita Sinha thanked the doctors and health partners, stating that the school remains committed to student wellness as an integral part of holistic education.
