The Heritage Club of Surendranath Centenary School commemorated Quit India Movement Day on 7th August 2026 with activities aimed at instilling patriotism and creating awareness about India`s freedom struggle. For the Senior Wing, the day featured a speech on the significance of the movement, a skit depicting its key events and ideals, and a quiz competition on the Indian Freedom Struggle and the Quit India Movement. The Junior Wing students participated in a wall magazine on India’s journey to independence and a poster making competition. Addressing the gathering, Madam Principal Samita Sinha emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices of freedom fighters and urged students to uphold the values of courage, unity, and integrity.
