The Eco Club, in collaboration with the Community Outreach Club and the Art & Culture Club of Surendranath Centenary School, celebrated Van Mahotsav 2026 from 1st to 7th July 2026 with great enthusiasm and active participation. The week-long celebration commenced with an environmental pledge and featured a series of engaging activities for both the Junior and Senior Wings. The Junior Wing organized the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Plantation Drive with parents, Making Seed Bombs, Handprint Tree Activity, and a vibrant Song and Dance Programme. The Senior Wing conducted a Teachers Talk on environmental conservation, Speech, Throw and Grow, Plantation Drive, Pebble Painting, Green Parade, Best out of Waste, Nature Scan, and the Herb Haven Exhibition, encouraging students to develop environmental awareness through creative and hands-on experiences. Madam Principal Samita Sinha appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the students and emphasized that such initiatives nurture environmental responsibility and inspire young minds to contribute towards building a greener and more sustainable future.
